Each attendee will be allowed to tour Mittal’s Sparrows Point plant. Much of the tour is in a vehicle.  See dress requirements below. Tom Russo, General Manager, Mittal Steel Sparrows Point Plant
Mr. Russo will be discussing the differences between working for a U.S. steelmaker, International Steel Group (ISG) and an international steel maker, Mittal Steel.

Itinerary:
8:30 a.m.: Continental Breakfast - Mittal Steel Main Office Building – Sparrows Point
9:00 a.m.: Program
10:00 a.m. – Noon: Tour of Mittal facilities

**All attendees must have a photo ID for Homeland Security requirements**

Manufacturing Plant Dress Code:
Mittal Steel asks that attendees who plan to tour the manufacturing plant abide by the following standards:

  • No shoes with high heels, shoes must be substantial leather with a closed toe
  • No tennis shoes
  • Women must wear slacks. Skirts and dresses are not appropriate for mill tours

Hard harts, safety glasses and flame retardant jackets will be provided.
