Bruce is a recognized leader, author, and speaker in the areas of risk management, technology, and intelligence. As a founder of WorldAware (recently acquired by GardaWorld), a leading provider of global intelligence, he has been the industry driver in creating and putting into practice the concept of Integrated Risk Management protecting people, sites, supply chain and information assets for global organizations.

Prior to founding WorldAware in 1999, Bruce worked with a number of government agencies including NSA/CIA, DoD and NASA. During this time, he developed systems for the intelligence community and space exploration. He has also served as a lead architect on intelligence programs for the US government.

Bruce received a BS in Physics from Allegheny College, and holds a MS in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University. He is an adjunct professor at University of Maryland University College (UMUC) where he teaches in the Criminal Justice division covering intelligence, security management and cyber security courses.

Paul J. Ferraro is the Bloomberg Distinguished Professor of Human Behavior and Public Policy at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Ferraro has a joint faculty appointment in the Carey Business School and the Department of Environmental Health and Engineering, a joint department of the Bloomberg School of Public Health and the Whiting School of Engineering. Ferraro’s research focuses on building a credible evidence base about the environmental and social impacts of public and private programs. Combining the approaches of epidemiologists, with their naturally occurring data, and clinical trial health scientists, with their randomized controlled trials, Ferraro seeks to identify the causal links between the actions we take to improve our world and the impacts of those actions. He also has broad interests in behavioral science and causal inference. Because these research areas are multi-disciplinary and applied, he collaborates with scientists and engineers from a variety of social, natural and physical science disciplines, as well as practitioners in the field.

Dr. Rajat Chabba is the Senior Technical Advisor for Private Sector Engagement at Jhpiego, an international non-profit that works across public health issues in marginalized and low resource countries. At Jhpiego, Rajat leads and drives strategic engagement with private health ecosystem to drive developmental impact globally, across Jhpiego’s technical portfolio in Asia, Africa and Middle East. Before Jhpiego, Rajat was the Global Lead for Healthcare & Innovations Lab at Intellecap, designed to solve critical health challenges in underserved communities by leveraging the power of technology, entrepreneurship and innovation. Over the last decade, Rajat has worked across NCDs, eye-care, tuberculosis, sanitation, maternal health & family planning. He has worked with a host of corporates, not for profits, foundations, multilateral agencies and consulting organizations with key focus on bridging the gaps between public and private health sectors. He is an MBBS graduate from BJ Medical College, Ahmedabad and holds Master’s in Rural Management from IRMA. Rajat was awarded the prestigious Acumen Fellowship in 2015.

Dr. Jude Cobbing joined Save the Children in 2020 as Senior Specialist: Water Infrastructure and Governance. He has 20+ years of experience in water resource assessment and planning, rural water supply in developing contexts, integrated water resources management, water quality monitoring, water strategy development, and the training of environmental professionals. Jude began his career in the non-profit sector in South Africa, working on rural water supplies. He has worked for the British Geological Survey, for the research and private sectors in Africa, and as a consultant to the World Bank Group in the USA. Jude carried out research into arsenic contamination of groundwater in Bangladesh for his MSc at London University. His PhD at Nelson Mandela University focused on optimizing groundwater management in a heavily used aquifer in North West Province, South Africa.
