Senior Manager, Professional Exchanges
Leslie Morales joined the World Trade Center Institute as an intern in May 2014, gaining valuable experience and insight into international operations and professional exchanges. She is responsible for designing and implementing professional and cultural programs for the International Visitor Leadership Program on behalf of the U.S. Department of State as well as the Community Connections program on behalf of the U.S. Agency for International Development. She is also responsible for event data analysis and logistics for marketing.
Born in Paris, France, Leslie now resides in Parkville and recently completed her undergraduate degree in International Business and French at Towson University. During her time at Towson, Leslie created and was the president of Towson ESL, a student group that pairs international students with Towson students to help improve their English both verbally and written for academic and social purposes so that they may return to their home country with a greater understanding, knowledge and appreciation of the American culture with firm, lasting international relationships. A combination of Leslie’s bicultural communication skills and diverse extended family has given her the valuable cross cultural sensitivity needed to accomplish her work within WTCI. In her free time, Leslie enjoys spending time with those close to her, reading, and going to the gym.
