A diverse group of globally minded leaders from the Baltimore area who have had significant career trajectories generally with at least 10 years of business experience. Candidates should be in management positions, in a current or transitional role towards international operations and possess future growth potential within their company. View the participants here.
This session will allow participants to get to know each other while walking them through the program calendar and requirements. Participants will attend a one-of-a-kind overnight retreat designed to foster team building, personal and professional growth and reflection at Winbak Farms and enable the participants to get to know one another.
These sessions will cover topics of leadership and global business importance, taught by subject matter experts and leaders with private sector international business experience. Each session includes an in-depth cross cultural training component.
Throughout the program each participant will have two opportunities to be part of a small group (ideally 4 people) who will spend one hour or more with a global business executive with decades of international leadership experience. Participants will be matched with an executive based on their interests and area of expertise.
As a part of the leadership experience, participants will attend one Presidents’ Series Event and the International Business Leadership Awards. If schedule permits, participants are invited to attend WTCI member events.
Each participant will design a brief presentation detailing the ways in which they will apply the learnings from the program to advance their career and company. The presentations will be followed by a reception to celebrate the completion of the program which will gather key stakeholders as well participants from the incoming EDGE class.
