“I’ve taken part in numerous leadership seminars and programs during my career designed to further refine my financial management skills and promote professional development.  Nothing I have participated in the past can compare to the Emerging & Developing Global Executives (“EDGE”) Program put on by the WTCI.  The EDGE Program is hands down one of the most unique programs out there with a real focus on international business, global challenges and opportunities.  The EDGE fellows are a mix of global minded leaders across various industries and disciplines that over the course of this 10 month program have transitioned from acquaintances to friends and alliances that offer different perspectives and advice.  We all hear about how important it is to build your professional network during your career which is often easier said than done.  The EDGE program puts you in a position to uniquely build your network not only by attending events and sessions with the other fellows but by the WTCI leveraging their impressive network of connections and making them available to the group.  I mean, I had dinner with Steve Phillips, CEO and President of Phillips Foods!  These types of encounters don’t just happen on their own and with each and every session and or event I’ve taken away something unexpected and insightful.  I’m ready for part 2 of this program to begin… which in my mind involves working with my fellow EDGE colleagues as well as my own company to bring greater international recognition, success and prestige to the city of Baltimore.”
