Ranak Jasani represents global businesses in a wide variety of commercial matters in state and federal courts, at both trial and appellate levels, including cases involving trade regulation and antitrust matters, intellectual property, direct and officer liability, fraud, commercial landlord/tenant actions, and general business and tort disputes. She counsels international companies, manufacturers and distributors, technology companies, and trade associations regarding the broad spectrum of antitrust and trade regulation issues—particularly in the context of corporate transactions, litigation and administrative enforcement—facing global market players today. Ranak’s proactive antitrust guidance is directed toward supporting clients’ strategic business objectives and competitive goals around the world, while fully meeting applicable federal and state antitrust requirements. An active member of the community, she serves on the board of directors for both Junior Achievement of Central Maryland and Downtown Baltimore Childcare, Inc. Ranak received her B.A. in political science and psychology from the University of Rochester, and her J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law.
