Senior Program Manager
Heather Harrison is a Senior Program Manager at Jhpiego, an affiliate of Johns Hopkins University where she provides project management capacity building and leadership to the field programs. Previously, Ms. Harrison was a Program Officer at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation with the HIV team in Global Health. She also worked with Catholic Relief Services as a Program Manager in Cameroon, Dominican Republic, and their headquarters in Baltimore managing HIV, health and emergency programs.
Ms. Harrison started her public health career as a Peace Corps Volunteer in rural Ecuador and then as a Crisis Corps Volunteer in Honduras following Hurricane Mitch. Ms. Harrison then worked in Miami for a W.K. Kellogg Foundation funded project to increase access to healthcare for the underserved.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Tulane University and an MPH degree with a focus on international public health from Tulane University School of Public Health.
