About the Leadership Awards

For the past 25 years, the Maryland International Business Leadership Awards has been the region’s premier business awards event. Each year, Governor Hogan along with Maryland’s international business community gather to honor companies who embody the idea that Maryland is Open for Business. WTCI and the Leadership Awards Selection Committee choose seven winners from over 100 nominations who represent the diverse cultures, genders, industries, and geography of Maryland. These leaders demonstrate strong business growth and a desire to give back to the community.

In keeping with our priority of ensuring our guests’ health and safety, WTCI has decided to postpone the 2021 International Leadership Awards due to the rising cases of COVID-19 in our area. We are currently working with the Governor, Award Winners, and speakers to find a new date in the spring of 2022.
