Green Ports – Global and local environmental issues have become major factors into the operations of ports around the world. Situated on the world’s largest estuary, the Port of Baltimore has to balance its role as an economic engine while minimizing its impact on our state’s greatest natural asset. Learn what the Port, its carriers, and supporting companies are doing to lessen their environmental impact and the opportunities that exist in the pursuit of greening port operations.

Port Security and Technology – Being able to move the billions of dollars worth of cargo through the Port of Baltimore each year efficiently and securely is challenging. The Port’s continued growth in many ways is predicated on new technologies which enhance the efficiency of the port while meeting the needs to maintain adequate security levels.
