This session will address Maryland’s response to the COVID pandemic featuring Novavax, a vaccine company in Gaithersburg, MD which has received a 1.6b grant from the US government to develop its COVID19 vaccine. Throughout its history, Novavax has been enhancing global health by developing vaccines against diseases such as influenza, RSV, Ebola, MERS, SARS, and COVID-19.
