About Women Spanning the Globe

Women in leadership roles face challenges and opportunities unique to their gender.

The annual Women Spanning the Globe conference is a chance to learn from and network with hundreds of emerging and existing leaders, most who identify as women.

The one-day event is hosted by the World Trade Center Institute (WTCI). The range of speakers since the annual event was started is diverse and expansive – marketing and banking executives, technology and human resources experts, journalists and engineers, for example. But the challenges facing professional women often are the same. Themes for the day have included “Finding Strength in Sisterhood,” "In Your Element," and “Turning Curiosity into Courage.”
